Exec says Rosneft sees Eastern Petrochemical Co unprofitable

MOSCOW, May 13 (PRIME) – Rosneft no longer sees construction of Eastern Petrochemical Company profitable and removed it from its investment program, an executive said at a conference call on Monday.

“Eastern Petrochemical Company is a good example. It was, as far as we know, beneficial in the framework of the existing tax system. And today, due to fulfillment of a large tax maneuver it is not profitable as such and was removed from the investment plan of the company,” the official said.
